The human body is amazingly complex. The more that is known about it the more we realize what is not known. In other words, "we don't know what we don't know." This cliche applies to medicine and applies to dentistry as well. When it comes to headaches there can be a myriad of causes. Statistically, most headaches fall into the tension-type category. These tension headaches can be the result of TMJ disorders and/or neuromuscular imbalances within the entire stomatognathic system.

This patient was originally interested in teeth straightening. She also wanted teeth whitening. She stated that some of her teeth were "one color and some were another color". Joyce chose Dr Correa at the Center for Cosmetic Dentistry to attend to her cosmetic concerns.

Today, this patient had 4 anterior porcelain veneer restorations done and 2 crown preparations on the back molars. This case was unique in that there was decay present in unusual locations of the tooth. This required a unique placement of the porcelain veneer margin so that the demand for conservation of tooth structure was met.
